Nova Centurion swimmers Ollie Hynd and Charlotte Henshaw were this week named on the lists put forward for the Great Britain Paralympic Swimming Team at London 2012 after putting in world class performances at Paralympic swimming trials.

Congratulations to Zac Purchase and Mark Hunter
All of us at Sine Qua Non would like to extend massive congratulations to GB Rowing’s lightweight doubles pair Zac Purchase and Mark Hunter for their outstanding display at the weekend’s World Rowing Championships in Bled, Slovenia, which culminated in a well-deserved gold medal on Sunday morning and a successful defence of their 2010 title.
We’ve had the pleasure of working with Zac since the start of this year and were cheering him and Mark on stroke after stroke right to the end. The intense duel with the New Zealanders made for edge-of-the-seat entertainment, but the reigning Olympic champions came out on top, which bodes very well indeed for London 2012.

Plaudits also to Zac’s fiancée Felicity who made the long trip to Slovenia by car all the way from the UK, posting frequent updates to a fascinated Twitter audience and arriving in time for Saturday’s semi-final.
We hope they both enjoy their hard earned holiday before sights are turned firmly to next year’s Olympics.
