Sine Qua Non client Zac Purchase has enjoyed a busy start to Olympic year as he sets his sights on a second consecutive Olympic gold medal at this summer’s London games.

Zac wasted no time getting into the 2012 spirit by braving the rain and wind to join the BBC’s James Pearce live in Trafalgar Square on New Year’s Day itself to talk about the exciting year ahead. 

For Zac, it will be a doubly busy year as he gets married to his fiancée Felicity just weeks after the conclusion of the Olympic Games. The pair made an ideal New Year’s Day double act on the BBC and got 2012 off to an ideal start.

Not content with keeping his own blog up-to-date, Zac has become one of the Guardian’s regular Olympic diarists for 2012 and saw his first entry posted on Wednesday along with seven athletes from other sporting disciplines.

Zac has just jetted off for the first training camp of Olympic year with the GB Rowing Team as he continues the relentless workload that has made him Britain’s most successful lightweight rower.
